Waikuku made it 3 wins from 4 starts in Hong Kong, and has put himself into the running with a serious chance in the Hong Kong Derby next month. The 4yr old son of Harbour Watch, ran just twice in Ireland and was purchased by Alastair after breaking his maiden, for owner Mr Siu Pak Kwan, he is now trained by John Size.
Ka Ying Star also looks a big Derby chance after running 3rd in the Gr.1 Classic Cup, with a more positive ride he could well have won, he raced as Urban Aspect in the UK, before being purchased for Tony Cruz.
