Over the last few days Ed and Alastair have had plenty of good winners.
Alastair’s horses started it off with Shakopee at Doncaster, the lightly raced 4yr old looks to have lots of improvement in him and won well for Luca Cumani. Rebel de Lope was an 8 length maiden winner and will step up to stakes company next, he was a £75,000 yearling for Charlie Hills. Scottish won the Listed Steventon Stakes at Newbury for Godolphin, he was a private purchase earlier this year, and will be heading to Australia where he looks like he could be a proper Gr.1 contender.
Ed’s horses added to the success when Star of Rory, who was an £80,000 Book 1 yearling purchase, won his maiden first time out at Haydock and earned a £25,000 Book 1 bonus for his owners on top of the prize money.
